The mountains seemed to go on forever... After Dejen we had to cross the Goha Tsiyon gorge which descents from 2700 m ASL to 1000 m then up to 3200 m finally to end at 2400 m ASL in Addis Abeba. We drove the whole day so we could have our Christmas dinner in a little Italian paradise in the heart of town - Ristorante Castelli - bellísimo !!

We used Christmas Day for something very untraditionally, removing very large amounts of dust. After driving on the most rough roads of Africa the dust took over and the Landy together with the whole equipment required thorough clean up.
