Dune 44?

To be able to be at right time and place (sunrise) we drove off an hour before dawn the about 60 kilometers to the legendary and gigantic hill of drifted ultra fine red sand; Dune 45. The number indicates at least 44 other dunes, we only climbed the number 45 though, which by the way is said to be the largest in the world. No wonder one feels very small...

At one day to the border with South Africa we sensed the feeling of the name Cape Town and realized that at that moment we were seriously close to the goa. And we did not get much sleep that night, we thought about every possible thing but most of all whether the Landy would drive the last 500 km without new sounds or other obstructions, she is after all an old lady.
