camping in a farm

After we'd been turned down at the Kassap border we had two alternatives; return to Istanbul and come back with a visa which would mean six driving days, or try to use the other border which was 150 km away. So we cooled down and spent the night with a turk family in their farm and took a chance the next day at the Bab-Al-Hawa border.

This time we decided to be more prudent and use some contacts from when Mario was an overlander, and smooth it went. Ahmed Mallah sorted us out at the border without visas in less than one hour, arranged the landy's insurance and diesel tax, and showed us Aleppo's best sites... luck was once again on our side.
