We had the intention of visiting Göreme and the Cappadocia area, which is supposed to be a dramatic rock formation and one of the major attractions in the inland of Turkey. But to be honest we were a little tired of the cold and decided to drive straight to the south of the country, heading for Syria and the warm.

These rural parts of Turkey possess some very open and friendly people, it's a completely different culture than ours and we cannot really communicate by words, yet hospitality and cordiality are the constant answers on their faces. (and sometimes when we go for a picture we come back like this
)
