Jeg sidder jævnligt og kigger på jeres hjemmeside og bliver inspireret til at gøre noget lignende.....Det er en superfed hjemmeside med nogle fantastiske billeder.....Da jeg var lille i starten af firserne boede jeg med min forældre i Benin i 3 år. Min far var udstationeret for FLS og var med til at bygge en cementfabrik i en lille by der hed Onig'bolo ikke langt fra Pobé.....Hvis i kører forbi må i love mig at tage nogle billeder fra fabrikken og campen - så vil jeg være jer evigt taknemlig.....fortsat super god tur...

Glad you enjoyed the Sobo Bade hotel in Senegal. Reading your stories about West Africa almost makes us wish we were there again. Still glad we did not take the ferry to cross from Mauretania into Senegal though, after reading your story! Good luck on you new trip. We are still on the road after 2 years circumnavigating Africa. Finally left Egypt and are now on the middle eastern tour of Jordan and Syria before a quick run back to cold Europe.

Hello there, it is with great pleasure i read your website, stunning photography and a great 110 (landy nut myself and noticed this in LRM), Dont suppose on your travles through Malawi, you stoped at Livingstona? Its just off the M1 down country up on a 3000ft(ish) platu, makes great driving, 22 pins and stunning scenry of lake malawi, i ask as my father is greatly invovled out in malawi, mostly north, Livingstona,Ekewindi, Muzu and a few more. more info on a website, but cant find address, sorry proply in a seach?

Hi,

i've enjoyed reading your previous trip reports. Starting an african overland trip ourselves this summer, and your reports lighted up our dark belgian winter days while preparing our own trip.
Funny to see that you already have new plans... i guess adapting back to 'normal' life isn't exaclty easy, is it?
If i summarise it correctly you rode all the way from denmark to capetown, shipped the landy back to europe, and now head for africa again... can i conclude from this that your car only wants to drive from north to south? Is your engine using the magnetic fields of the earth or something?
Anyway, i wish you lots of success on your new travel plans...
